Welcome to Maymont Elementary School, Home of the Peacocks! We are excited as we prepare for the 2009-2010 school year. Maymont’s students and staff appreciate all of the wonderful acts of kindness that all of the community has shown us.

We are excited to say that the preliminary data shows we are fully accredited and made the Adequate Yearly Progress status. Thanks so much to our great students, their wonderful parents, our awesome staff and everyone else who helped us continue a story of success. The theme continues to be “Together Everyone Achieves More.” Our students are continuing to have great academic success because of the commitment from the parents, staff and the community.

Our 5th grade students are preparing for the SOL Writing Test which begins on March 1st.

Students and staff have been getting ready for our very special PTA performance on February 22nd at 6:00pm.
